Invest in your mental health!

Prioritizing your mental health is essential to your overall well being. If our mental health is not prioritized, our physical health, relationships, and daily function may be negatively impacted.

Therapy is most effective when clients are consistent and fully present. Sessions will be held at the same time on a weekly basis, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Reduced Fees

I recognize that therapy is expensive and out of reach for many people. A percentage of my practice is dedicated to clients who pay on a sliding scale. Sliding scale services are available on a limited basis and based on household income. Sliding scale fees can be discussed during our consultation call. Please contact us even if you cannot afford our full fee. In the case that we are unable to adjust our fee for you, I will refer you to other mental health professionals.

Payment

Payment is collected at time of service through a secure service called Simple Practice. All major debit and credit cards are accepted for payment.

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged for your session.

If you have an emergency, a late cancellation may be rescheduled if another appointment time is available. Rescheduling is available at the therapist's discretion.

Insurance

I currently ONLY accept AETNA health insurance. For all other insurances, I am an out of network provider. I can provide a superbill (receipt for service) which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company for reimbursement details prior to your initial session. If your health insurance agrees to reimburse you for your sessions, you will pay for services directly through the client portal and we will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider with your claim.

Please Note: Please be aware that if you do submit a claim to your insurance provider, your diagnosis will become a permanent part of your medical record. Also, confidentiality is affected once insurance providers are involved, since they have a right to your records. Many clients choose to pay out of pocket for therapy to further protect their privacy.

Consultation Call

I offer a FREE 15 minute phone or video consultation where we can discuss your needs, the services I offer, and if I can provide the support you deserve. We will also discuss fees, scheduling, and any other concerns you may have.

    Right to Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
